What We Collect
When you submit a booking enquiry, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, event details (date, type, venue, guest count), and postcode (used to calculate travel distance). We do not collect payment card details — these are handled directly by Stripe.
Why We Collect It
We use your information solely to assess and process your booking enquiry, contact you about your event, calculate any applicable travel costs, and send you event-related emails (booking confirmation, deposit link, balance reminder).
How Long We Keep It
Booking enquiries are retained for 12 months after the event date, then deleted. Incomplete (draft) bookings are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Who We Share It With
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the site:
- Stripe (payment processing — PCI DSS Level 1 certified)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
- Neon / Cloudflare (data hosting in the UK/EU)
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email shindig86events@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.
